Faith M. Gaudaen (shown middle in photo at right) is an attorney practicing commercial litigation and real estate law. She attended the 2011 Construction Real Estate Women’s (CREW) Network Convention and Marketplace in Washington, D.C. earlier this year as a recipient of a CREW Scholarship.
From time to time, it’s important for attorneys to attend conferences and seminars outside of the legal arena to gain insights that we can take to our clients. The CREW Convention did not disappoint. I heard stories about what people from San Antonio to Cleveland were doing to succeed in the new real estate climate. In addition, there were panels on key topics by industry leaders including: Rand Construction, Starbucks, Walmart, Deloitte Consulting, Prudential Real Estate Investors and Moody’s Investor Services. The information I gained at the CREW conference can be immediately applied and shared with my clients in Michigan. If you would like to learn more about the issues, trends and strategies discussed at the CREW conference, I would be delighted share my insights with you.
